The Shediac Bay Watershed Association wants to send a big thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday to help us with our dune restoration event at Belliveau Beach!

We successfully secured over 50 recycled Christmas trees along the edge of the dunes. With their branches, these trees will begin to accumulate sand and help rebuild the dune system to provide a natural defence against storms and rising sea levels.

A special thank you goes out to Parlee Beach Provincial Park and the Town of Shediac for their help in organizing this event!
