This week, our field team is sampling aquatic insects and other macro-invertebrates in several streams in the watershed. Species found in the samples are bio-indicators of water quality. The Canadian Aquatic Biomonitoring Network (CABIN) is a national program to assess the health of freshwater ecosystems across Canada.
