Dune Restoration at Belliveau Beach – Phase 2

Last week we planted over 250 marram grass plugs at Belliveau Beach! These plants play a vital role in dune stabilization and erosion prevention through their system of roots and rhizomes. This underground network helps hold the sand in place to create the dunes, and to make them more resilient to storms.
