It’s always a pleasure to bring students on field trips as part of the Adopt-A Stream program. Last Fall, students from the Shediac Cape School spent part of the day at Edna’s Pond on the Scoudouc River to learn about macroinvertebrate sampling, water quality testing and river habitat. They also helped to protect the streambank by planting native trees to prevent erosion and sediment runoff.
