Local residents are invited to participate in public meetings being held in the rural community of Beaubassin-est (Dec 4, municipal building, 1:30 pm), in Cap-Pelé (Dec. 5, Senior’s Club, 7 pm), and Shediac (Dec 6, multipurpose center, 7 pm) to discuss environmental concerns, and possible actions to address those concerns. These meetings are part of the process to develop a Green Strategy for this region (www.ecovision2025.wordpress.com).
The goals for these meetings are to:
- To share the environmental concerns that have been heard so far through public surveys and stakeholder meetings.
- To provide context and ideas for EcoVision 2025 by looking at exciting and innovative examples from other communities in New Brunswick.
- To gather input from the public on possible ways forward and actions to address the environmental concerns in the region.
If you are planning to attend any of the meetings, we ask that you please register here: https://goo.gl/forms/aZEk13I3GNp7D7fA2.
